What is an Example of Performance Support?
I’m looking forward to learning more about Performance Support at the Performance Support Symposium is in Boston next week.
If someone asked me what a good example was of Performance Support in action then the first vendor that comes to my mind is an interesting program called LEO. LEO changes the way someone may learn about how a piece of software (like Microsoft Word or ANY software program) works. Instead of completing an e-learning program BEFORE using the intended software, LEO allows you to learn WHILE you are using your target software. LEO makes it practical to deliver real-time, in application user performance support and learning interventions – like a GPS for ANY application, with NO integration!
So, if you or any of your colleagues are planning to be in Boston for the Performance Support Symposium September 13th and 14th make sure you sit down with Kryon Systems and take a quick look at LEO.
LEO is a new generation of Performance Support System – a great example of the sort of game-changing technology advances that are making Learning and Development professionals rethink what is possible.
Like a GPS helps drivers get from point A to point B, Leo helps users navigate corporate software and complete their everyday business objectives on live applications. Leo navigates any application, supporting the user in real time. With Leo’s performance support there is no reduction in productivity when deploying a new system. There is no need to train users about each and every button or use large teams to support new deployments. Leo is enables organizations to quickly take learning and performance support to a whole new level without depending on IT or professional services.
If you want to know more take ~ 3 minutes to watch this brief Leo demo “If software drives your business, LEO is your GPS!”
Take a look at what others are saying about this technology…
“It doesn’t just send you to a text-heavy page and leave you there; instead, Leo literally shows you how it’s done!” — Liane Cassavoy,
PC World
“Leo is to help as the GPS was to driving, except that here the GPS also turns the wheel for you… This is a revolutionizing product.” — Chris Shipley, Executive Producer, Conference
“The LEO wizards have significantly enhanced customer satisfaction… Using the LEO Player to automatically guide users through a complex series of steps in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 saves us time and improves the user experience with our product line. We look forward to creating many more wizards in LEO Studio that address the ever expanding requirements of our hosting customers” – Larry Strange, Principal, AccessHosting.Com/SharePointHoster.Com
I agree! As far as EPSS goes, LEO is the best. I test drove the Studio for a bit and found it easy to use and very precise. It’s different from the other EPSS systems that we’ve looked at because it actually takes over the computer. Most of the other tools just provide text help or videos. Hoping to implement it at my job sometime next year. I hope you enjoy the conference!
